Brett thank you very much for letting us be part of Shooter, the truth that I am very agradesida with you by providing impressive photography workshop, I really had never attended a course so as complete as yours. I think in those days, I learned what I had not learned in five years. I hope with everything he learned in his workshop to achieve more with my photography, which to be honest I was feeling somewhat stagnant in terms of poses, to make the same picture as it were, with you I learned that I can do more than I thought and thought. My Life in Photography now take it before and after the Shooter.
Hope to see you soon in Mazatlan. Take care and good luck in the Upcoming Shooter’s, I will keep checking every day, as they will be as my source of inspiration and something to follow.

Byron Dannatt - September 27, 2010 - 3:05 pm

Hey what’s up! My wife and I are planning on coming to the workshop in St. Louis! We found out about it through Hiram Trillo! I was just checking our your actions and they totally rock! Any chance you’ll be offering a discount on the actions if we attend the workshop?

Also been talking to Hiram about Alien Bees vs. Radio Poppers. We were wondering if we would benefit from buying transmitters/receivers before we come, just for a better hands on experience? Hiram was nice enough to give me links on the Alien Bees he uses, but I’m worried if I buy the Alien Bees that I’ll just end up wanting the Radio Popper after you guys teach us how to use them, lol

Thanks!

Hello,
I am a friend of Dave Yan, and understand you may be conducting another workshop at La Cofradia in Tequila Mexico. I would be interested in this workshop and wanted to inquire at this time what the cost would be, what it includes, what equipment is required and experience level and when you anticipate you might be returning there.

Regards,
Laura Wichman

[...] One of my 1o year goals that I set a couple years ago was to teach photography workshops or seminars across the country.  Little did I know that in September I would be asked to join a group called SHOOTERS and teach international lighting workshops.  Our first workshop was in Mazatlan, Mexico and was truly a life changing experience.  It was truly amazing.  Our students were so cool and each one will always a special place in my heart.  The greatest part of this workshop was getting to photograph an incredible model in a wedding dress out on a cliff overlooking the ocean.  I remember just sitting there watching the waves crash in and everyone shooting.  It was one of the best feelings I’ve ever had (and made for one of the best pictures I’ve ever taken!)  Full blog post -> here.
